Shoes to Cure the Blues

So, in my browsing of beautiful fashion that I feel the need to have but certainly can't afford, I stumbled across these AMAZING shoes that I absolutely fell in love with! Isn't it amazing how awesome a brand new pair of shoes can make us feel? I can only speak for myself, but honestly- when I see a gorgeous pair of shoes that I feel that I just have to have (regardless of the insane price!) I get ridiculously excited!

Lets talk hemlines...

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of uneven hemlines on dresses and skirts, and I have to admit- I can't seem to get enough of this trend! Perfectly symmetrical hemlines are okay if your going for a classy, simple look- but if you want something more fun, uneven is totally the way to go right now! Pair it with sexy stilettos for a sleeker style, or go full on funky with chunky heels. Regardless of what you match it with, it's a look that's bold, yet playful.

 This look is flattering for all body types, and I'll tell you why.  For top heavy women, it draws the attention away from big shoulders/arms and give more of a balanced appearance to the upper body. For the short ladies like myself who LOVE the look of a maxi dress but seem to drown in all that excess material, this is a sweet compromise. Regardless of your individual shape, feel free to stock up on these, as the versatility of this fun trend isn't going anywhere anytime soon!

Pimpin Pantsuits

What’s old is not only new again, but hot! Pantsuits are coming back in a big way, and here at Veronique’s Closet, we have MORE than enough options to go around, as well as awesome accessories to pair everything with. The best thing about a pantsuit is its simplicity, as well as its style. To create curves, wear it with a wide belt.  Doesn’t this piece of gorgeous lingerie just make you want to swoon?  Falling in love with beautiful lingerie is too easy. All you need is a garter belt and thigh highs, and treat your lover to a fabulously sexy fashion show!

              There’s something about a dramatic dress that just seems to say “sophisticated with a capital S”. From beautiful backless ones to trendy peplums, these classic looks are impossible to resist and deserve a night out (just as much as you do!) to see and be seen at a fabulous party or a trendy new lounge. 

               Peplums (like this one below) are super hot right now and look best with pearl earrings and a clutch bag. Celebs like Kim Kardashian, Lauren Conrad and Charlize Theron can’t get enough.
